The Southern African Sexual Health Association is a non-profit organisation that was established in 1999.

Our Mission

To provide credible information and education on sexual health issues from a multidisciplinary perspective for the general public, the media and healthcare professionals.

Our Values

1. We are non-discriminatory and recognise the diversity of sexual orientation, sexual behaviour and sexual practices.
2. We recoignise that sexual health involves medical, psychological and social components and welcome registered healthcare practitioners from these disciplines as members.
3. We believe that sexual rights are fundamental human rights, and support The Universal Declaration of Sexual Rights from The World Association for Sexology.
